Come From Away at OCP

About the Musical Come From Away

When the world stops, a small town opens its doors.

On September 11, 2001, 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 passengers were unexpectedly diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. What began as an ordinary day became an extraordinary story of compassion as the people of Gander welcomed thousands of stranded strangers with open arms. Based on real events and interviews with those who lived through them, Come From Away is a moving, uplifting musical about kindness, resilience, and the connections that can emerge during life’s most challenging moments.
