HALLOWEEN SPECIAL FX MAKEUP WORKSHOP

AGES 12 – 18

Cuts and bruises and wounds, oh my! Come learn how to be special effects makeup artist & just in time for Halloween. Students will be guided through the entire process of a gore-y makeup look – from planning to finish. Supplies are included in the class fee.

STAGE COMBAT WORKSHOP – TEEN BEGINNER UNARMED BASICS

Cost: $40.00
Saturday | 11:00 am – 1:00 pm | November 19

Join us for a one-day stage combat workshop exploring unarmed basics. This workshop is for all experience levels & abilities. Students will be introduced to movement, footwork, and combinations used in basic unarmed stage combat. Proper technique and fundamental movements will be reinforced for students with prior experience. This will be a safe space for exploration & learning. Snacks & water will be provided. REGISTRATION CLOSES NOVEMBER 7 & SPOTS ARE LIMITED

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Caitlyn Grace is a globe trotting adventurer, stunt performer, and teaching artist. Her training background includes Marine Corps Officer Candidate School PLC, collegiate track & field, various martial arts (Presas Arnis, Balintawak, Wushu), and extensive stage & film combat. She was previously living in Los Angeles, teaching at the Stella Adler Acting Academy and wrestling professionally with W.O.W. (Women of Wrestling) until COVID19  interrupted. She is currently putting her niche abilities to use in the MidWest as a G.M.B. personal trainer, ACE Academy play educator, filmmaker, and fight director.  Here, she hopes to hone her storytelling ability and use it to positively foster the communities around her.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Henry Fonda Theatre Academy is dedicated to ensuring that all individuals have access to arts education. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please fill out our online application. The Director of Education will respond to your application as soon as possible.

Policies

Refunds

Any requests for changes or refunds must be made in writing at least one week prior to your first class or camp. A full refund will be issued minus a $5 processing fee. No refunds after this point, only credit toward tuition of a future class, camp or workshop within a year of the cancellation. No exceptions for injury or illness.

Cancellation of Class

If your class or workshop is canceled, you will have the choice of a full refund (no processing fee charge) or a credit toward a future class or workshop.

Behavior: In order to ensure students derive maximum benefit and enjoyment from the classroom experience, students who become disruptive or disrespectful will be removed from class with no refund of tuition.

Photo & Video Release

Omaha Community Playhouse often takes photographs and video during events for use in brochures and the web. By registering you agree that OCP may use any image of you or your child that might appear in photographs or video taken at OCP.
