Accessibility

The Omaha Community Playhouse strives to be accessible to all. In addition to accessible seating options, services offered include an infrared sound system, Audio Described performances, and ASL Interpreted performances.

Seating Accommodations

Both the Howard & Rhonda Hawks Mainstage and Howard Drew theatres are wheelchair accessible. Please contact the OCP Box Office to arrange wheelchair seating accommodations at least 24 hours in advance of the desired performance.

Hearing Impaired

Each theatre is equipped with an infrared sound system for patrons who are hard of hearing. Headsets are available for no charge at the OCP Box Office. Patrons with a T-Coil engaged also may check out a device that will enhance sound during a performance.
Audio-description and ASL interpretation are offered for select performances.

Sensory Accommodations

Sensory kits are available for no charge at the OCP Box Office. A quiet zone is available outside the Howard & Rhonda Hawks Mainstage Theatre in the Scott Lobby to take a break from overstimulating experiences.

The Playhouse offers select Relaxed Performances during the course of our season.

To request additional accommodations (such as physical needs, supports for neurodivergent individuals, or other concerns), please contact the OCP Box Office.
