Allison Price (they/them)
Director, Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches

Allison Price (they/them) is a multi-hyphenate director and deviser based out of Austin, TX, with a focus on works that are intimate and have a bite; with a specialization in new work development, queer performance, and audience activation. Recent credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Big Love, Peter and the Starcatcher, A League of Her Own, A Beautiful Day In November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes, A Collective Noise, How I Learned to Drive, What We Scream Underwater When No One Can Hear Us and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Their opera credits include Il Giuoco del Quadriglio, Cendrillon, Don Giovanni and Carmen. Their recent new work development credits include Acanthus, OUT and A League of Her Own. They have been awarded the ATAC award for Best Direction of a Comedy and Best Comedy (Peter and the Starcatcher), BroadwayWorld Austin Best New Play (A League of Her Own), a B. Iden Payne Award for Outstanding Technical Integration (A League of Her Own) and Stage Directors and Choreographer Fellowship (Kennedy Center). They were invited to participate in the Kerrigan and Lowdermilk Mad Ones Lab where they created an interactive music video for the musical The Mad Ones. Allison also serves as a co-producer for Queer to Tell Austin, an LGBTQIA+ advocacy group that produces local queer autobiographical stories. TammyRa’ Jackson
Director, Dot

TammyRa’ is an Award winning Storyteller, Actress, Director, Master Hair Stylist, Vocalist and Entrepreneur with a wide array of experiences, based here in Omaha, Nebraska. TammyRa’ has performed in many theaters throughout the Omaha/Lincoln area, including The Center Stage, The John Beasley Theater, Omaha Community Playhouse, Lincoln Community Playhouse, University of Nebraska-Omaha, Nebraska Shakespeare, The Union for Contemporary Art and The Rose Theater. TammyRa’s performance credits also include short film, commercials both local and regional, as well as radio and television voice overs. She has worked with the Great Plains Theatre Commons (GPTC) since 2008 as both an actress and director. In 2022, she joined GPTC as a Community Connector. During COVID, she started doing virtual shows with Playzoomers so that she was able to continue to share her talents with others and give back in her own way. TammyRa’ has performed in several shows at OCP and won an award for each performance. She won the Clarence Teal Award for her first appearance in Sophisticated Ladies. She also been the recipient of the Fonda/McGuire Award two years in a row for The Color Purple as Celie (2021-2022, Season 97) and Pretty Fire as Charlayne (2022-2023, Season 98). She was the Assistant Director for Constellations and Associate Director for August Wilson’s Fences.

Mackenzie Zielke
Director, Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville

Mackenzie Zielke received her M.A. in Theatre from Regent University and a B.A. in Music Theatre from the Conservatory at UMKC. While living in Kansas City she worked with the Lyric Opera, Barn Players, Chestnut Theatre, Musical Theatre Heritage and Padgett Productions all in various capacities. For nine years, she was the director of the musical theatre program at Grace University where she taught classes and voice lessons, directed productions and created and directed cabaret showcases. Since moving back to Omaha full time, she has been a vocal coach at SNJ Studios, a stage director for the Omaha Symphonic Chorus and was the education director at the Omaha Community Playhouse from 2017-2020. She was also the assistant director for School of Rock at OCP and most recently directed the 2023 OEAA nominated production of Into the Woods at the Chanticleer as well as the beloved classic White Christmas at the Bellevue Little Theatre this past winter. Mackenzie has also appeared onstage at OCP in Murder Ballad, Shrek The Musical, The Bridges of Madison County, Bright Star and is currently in Hello Dolly!

Jim McKain
Co-Director, A Christmas Carol

Dick Boyd Award recipient Jim McKain returns to directing duties after serving as the assistant director of the 2021 and 2023 productions of A Christmas Carol, guiding The Mystery of Irma Vep (2021) and Fully Committed. No stranger to OCP’s stages, Jim’s last Playhouse performance was as Max Bialystok in The Producers which garnered him his third Fonda-McGuire Award. Other favorite Playhouse performances he has been in include such shows as Hairspray, August: Osage County, A Man of No Importance, Violet, The Boys Next Door and the 1988 production of The Rocky Horror Show. Jim also has performed on many other area stages and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for BLUEBARN Theatre in Omaha. As a director, Jim has worked with many area theaters including Ralston Community Theatre, Papillion-La Vista Community Theatre, Dundee Dinner Theatre and Lincoln Community Playhouse. Jim has directed musicals for 15 years at Concordia High School in Omaha.

Breanna Carodine
Associate Director, Waitress

A member of the Omaha Community Playhouse directing fellowship inaugural class, Breanna Carodine made her directorial debut during the 2018/19 season with OCP’s staged reading of Lasso of Truth before serving as assistant director for Shrek The Musical. Most recently she directed Pipeline and Pretty Fire, both at OCP, What A Time to Be Alive at GPTC and Black Women Rebel with Radio Theatre Omaha at the Benson Theatre. Other directing credits include serving as the director for the staged reading of Women Laughing Alone with Salad, assistant directing The Color Purple (2022) at OCP and directing Down the Rabbit Hole with Radio Theatre Omaha.

Isaiah Ruiz
Associate Director, American Mariachi

Isaiah Ruiz is a Director, Actor, and Community Engagement Director born and raised in California and now residing in Omaha, NE. Isaiah is the Director of Community Connections for The Rose Theater. Previously Isaiah served as a Resident Director and Outreach Director for Chino Community Children’s Theater. Some of his directing credits include Last Stop On Market Street, The Lion King, 13 The Musical and so many more. He has studied Communications and Political Science. Isaiah attended The Young Americans College Of The Performing Arts where he went on a National Tour performing and teaching all around the USA. Isaiah is committed to uplifting BROWN voices in all forms of art and is honored to be a part of this incredible project. @isaiaharuiz

Liz Stinman (she/her)
Music Director, Waitress

Liz Stinman is beyond thrilled to make her OCP mainstage music direction debut with Waitress! Since 2009, Liz has been active as a music director, vocal coach, and/or keyboardist across the Midwest. She has also worked as a music director and teaching artist at Stagedoor Manor – a performing arts training center in New York – participated in the highly-selective Goodspeed Musicals Music Direction Intensive in Connecticut, and was an artist-in-residence for the New Musicals Lab at the Ferguson Center in Virginia. Currently, Liz works as a piano technician with Great Plains Piano Company and is on the music staff at St. Timothy’s Lutheran in Omaha. She resides in Council Bluffs with her husband, Michael, and two boys, Garrett and Bradyn. “I want to thank Alex, Susie, and Becky for seeing me, hearing me, and trusting me with this process. To the women of MAESTRA whom I so admire, who have been paving the way for women in the arts since 2017, THANK YOU for your tireless work, advocacy, and giving women a strong platform on which to stand. As a female creative, I am blessed to be able to help tell this beautiful story and be a small part of the legacy of this show which made history on Broadway for its all-female creative team. Boston Reid (he/him/his)
Music Director, A Christmas Carol and Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville

An active theatre practitioner, Boston Reid has performed in, music directed and accompanied numerous productions/events in the local area. Highlights include recently music directing Urinetown and Peter and the Starcatcher at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Elkhorn Community Theatre (OEAA nomination for Outstanding Music Direction), music directing Reefer Madness, Theory of Relativity and performing in A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Christopher) at Doane University, and music directing The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for the Papillion La Vista Community Theatre (OEAA nomination for Outstanding Music Direction). He is currently the full-time collaborative pianist at Omaha Burke High School and the assistant director of the Sacred Heart Freedom Choir. He has also enjoyed working with students as a teaching artist for OCP’s Shirlee and Henry Fonda Theatre Academy and through music-directing Gross Catholic High School’s theatrical productions. Michelle Garrity
Choreographer, A Christmas Carol, The Old Man and The Old Moon and Titanic The Musical

Michelle Garrity is no stranger to the Omaha Community Playhouse stage, having performed in many musicals over the last 30 years. Michelle has choreographed for many local community theatres and metro high schools. Her latest choreography credits include OCP’s annual production of A Christmas Carol, Kinky Boots (2022), Dear Jack, Dear Louise (2021), The Last Five Years (2021), Annie (2019), Ragtime (2019), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2017), City of Angels (2016), Hands on a Hardbody (2015), Next to Normal (2014), all at OCP, A Christmas Story at Chanticleer, Hairspray at Papillion-La Vista Community Theatre and Sweet Charity and Thoroughly Modern Millie at Ralston Community Theatre.

Madison Roman
Choreographer, Waitress

Madison Roman is ecstatic to be the choreographer for Waitress! Madison is recent participant of the Directing Fellowship program and had the pleasure of being the assistant director/choreographer for the illustrious OCP production of Cabaret. Previous choreography credits include 42nd Street and Legally Blonde The Musical at Elkhorn North High School. A big thank you to the Lord for blessing me with my love of dance, Alex for taking a chance on me, and Jake for always lifting me up. Melanie Epps
Choreographer, Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville

Melanie Epps is thrilled to join the creative team for Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville. Her choreography has been seen in OCP productions of Beautiful The Carole King Musical, School of Rock, Spamalot, Mamma Mia!, Young Frankenstein, Parade, Legally Blonde The Musical, Altar Boyz, Caroline, or Change, Evil Dead: The Musical, The Producers and Sister Act, as well as BLUEBARN productions of Die Hard: The Musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Indecent. For over 25 years, Melanie has also served as choreographer for numerous regional high school show choirs and secondary school musicals, and often serves as a clinician and adjudicator. As a performer, favorite roles include Lady of the Lake (Spamalot – OCP Fonda McGuire Award – 2016), Eva Peron (Evita), Velma Kelly (Chicago), Cassie (A Chorus Line), Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Judy Bernly (9 to 5), Lucy Harris (Jekyll and Hyde), Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar) and The Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat). By day, Melanie is proud to serve as Executive Director for the Omaha Academy of Ballet.

Cody Tellis Rutledge (he/him/his)
Scenic Designer, Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches

Cody Tellis Rutledge (He/Him/His) is originally from McMinnville, TN and a current 2nd year MFA Lighting/Scenic candidate at UCONN. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a BFA in theatre with a double emphasis in musical theatre and technical production. Cody is back at the Playhouse for his second show after the hit show The Play That Goes Wrong. Nora Marlow Smith (she/her)

Nora Marlow Smith (she/her) is a New York based Scenic and Costume Designer and Assistant Professor of Design at SUNY Albany. Nora is delighted to return to OCP for Season 100! Nora made her OCP debut designing the set for RENT in 2022 and returned for Pipeline with sets and projections in 2023. Matthew Hamel
Scenic Designer, Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville

Matthew Hamel is thrilled to return to OCP for the 100th Season. With OCP: Little Shop of Horrors, The Giver, The Mystery of Irma Vep, The Rocky Horror Show, One Man, Two Guvnors and Superior Donuts. Recent Omaha credits include Urinetown (UNO), Little Shop of Horrors (OCP) and The Secret Garden (Creighton University). Based in New York City, Matt is a set designer and creative director for theater, live experiences and attractions. Credits include “The FRIENDS™ Experience” across the globe, “Harry Potter: Celebrate Hogwarts,” “WB:100” and collaborations with Celebrity Cruises, Hasbro, Hershey’s Chocolate World, Nickelodeon, O Magazine and Warner Bros. Regional theater credits include productions with The Rose, The MUNY (St. Louis), Cincinnati Opera and Weathervane Playhouse (Newark, OH). Matt holds a B.F.A. from Creighton University and an M.F.A. from the University of Cincinnati – College-Conservatory of Music. Jackie Fox
Scenic & Lighting Designer, American Mariachi

Jackie Fox is a New York based scenic and lighting designer. She believes that the best art is disruptive, subversive, and pushes us to examine the most difficult elements of our psyche. Steven L. Williams
Lighting Designer, Jersey Boys

Steven L. Williams is the Theatre Coordinator and Full Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). He is a freelance scenic, lighting, and graphic designer who has designed over 150 productions with such notable theatre companies as the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, Omaha Community Playhouse, The Rose Theatre, Theatre Aspen, Heritage Repertory Theatre, Indiana University, Brown County Playhouse and Mcleod Summer Playhouse. Steven has designed 15productions at OCP including Spamalot, School of Rock, Recommended Reading for Girls, Lost Boy at Whole Foods, A Raisin in the Sun and Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville A Sherlock Holmes Mystery to name a few. Since 1998, Steven has proudly served as Theatrical Consultant and Scenic Designer for The Thorn including the most recent film of The Thorn. His most rewarding design work has been for a police investigation/training facility for Project Harmony in Omaha, NE. Steven is in his 29th year with UNO.

Cameron Filepas (Lighting Designer) is a NJ/ NYC based lighting designer for Theatre. Aja M. Jackson
Lighting Designer, Waitress

Aja M. Jackson is a Boston-based lighting designer. Originally from Nebraska, Hello, Dolly! marked Aja’s 7th design with OCP. She was also a former technical apprentice at OCP, graduating in 2009. Aja is driven by an unyielding passion for her craft and a profound belief in light’s capacity to enrich storytelling. Her journey spans diverse stages and artistic collaborations, embodying her commitment to crafting immersive experiences. She views lighting design not just as a job, but as an artistic mission to shape an altered perspective, provoke contemplation, and create a world that exists only for a moment. Her path encompasses the broad spectrum of the theatrical landscape, from the allure of Off-Broadway productions like Rock and Roll Man and A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet, to the regional theaters of the Huntington Theatre, Hartford Stage and the American Repertory Theater. Extending her reach beyond conventional theater, Aja’s collaboration with dance ensembles such as Modern Connections and HoldTight further underscores her aim to elevate movement through her lighting. Aja’s artistic journey finds its roots in Nebraska, where she studied Dance Performance and Theatrical Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). This dual major uniquely equipped her to infuse light into movement. Her path led her to Boston University (BU), where she pursued her M.F.A. in Lighting Design, refining her skills and deepening her understanding of light’s symbiotic relationship with narrative. Aja’s commitment to education led her to teach at Boston University, where she shares her expertise and passion with budding lighting students. Additionally, her role as Board Chair of Brighter Boston, an internship program that trains high school students in event production, highlights her dedication to fostering creativity and artistic growth. Andrew Vance
Lighting Designer, Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville

Andrew Vance is a Minneapolis based lighting designer who has designed lights for more than 100 productions around the country. He is thrilled to be returning to the Omaha Community Playhouse, where designed The Whipping Man [2014] and Biloxi Blues [2008] and volunteered for numerous shows. Bradley Pesarchick (he/him)
Costume Designer, Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches

Bradley Pesarchick kicked-off his costuming career after he completed the Theatre Tech Apprenticeship Program (TTAP) at the Omaha Community Playhouse. Since then, he’s been involved in numerous productions around Omaha. Currently, he operates as our Wardrobe Coordinator (2021 – present) working backstage with actors and dressers. He’s delighted to be given the opportunity to costume design at OCP. His most recent designs include The Play That Goes Wrong at the Omaha Community Playhouse (2024), Little Shop of Horrors at the Omaha Community Playhouse (2023), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Papillion La Vista Community Theatre (2021), and American Son at the Benson Theatre (2022). In 2022, his design for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was nominated for an OEA. His most notable work has been in wardrobe doing supervisory positions backstage. His wardrobe credits include Kinky Boots (2022), RENT (2023), Dreamgirls (2023), Beautiful The Carole King Musical (2023), and Cabaret (2024) all at The Omaha Community Playhouse. Stacey Harrison (they/them)
Costume Designer, Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville

Stacey Herrison is a Missouri-based costume designer and technician and the current Costume Shop Supervisor for University of Missouri at Kansas City – Conservatory. Stacey holds a B.A. in Theatre from Henderson State University and an M.F.A. in Costume Design from Texas State University. Their TSU design credits include The Tempest, The Rivals and A Chorus Line. Arkansas design credits include Driving Miss Daisy, The Producers and RENT at Argenta Contemporary Theatre and Guys and Dolls at Arkansas Repertory Theatre. They have also designed several shows at Burning Coal Theater in Raleigh, North Carolina including Camelot, Evita, A Hundred Words for Snow, I And You, A Little Night Music and The Life of Galileo. Stacey received the KCACTF Region 6 Barbizon Award for Excellence in Costume Design for A Chorus Line in 2018 and the SETC Graduate Costume Design Award for The Tempest in 2019. Tim Burkhart
Sound Designer, Various Shows

Tim Burkhart is a multi-winner of the Theatre Arts Guild Awards and Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards for sound design. Some OCP shows for which he has designed include Beautiful The Carole King Musical, Respect, Little Shop of Horrors, Dreamgirls, RENT!, School of Rock, Bright Star, Once, The Rocky Horror Show (2019), Annie (2019), Ragtime (2019), The Bridges of Madison County, Shrek The Musical, Caroline, or Change (TAG Award), City of Angels, Young Frankenstein, Ella, Les Misérables (TAG Award) and The Wizard of Oz (TAG Award). He appeared onstage as Hucklebee in The Fantasticks (Outstanding Young Actor) at Cedar Rapids Community Theatre in 1976. His first paid sound job was setting up the stage sound for Johnny Cash, Ray Price, Tom T. Hall and Ronnie Milsap. Tim was inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 for his work 40 years ago; it’s rare for an engineer to be inducted. He says he carries a Van Halen guitar pick in his pocket at all times as his good luck charm, because Eddie was one of very few rock Gods to personally thank him after a show. Currently, Tim is the senior systems designer for Midwest Sound & Lighting. He studied mathematics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and technical theatre at Simpson College. He also is an instrument-rated private pilot and experienced fly fisherman.

J. Isaiah Smith
Composer, Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches

J. Isaiah Smith is an internationally-produced playwright and theatre composer from Omaha, NE. He started out as an actor, singing and dancing on stage in high school for three years before he decided to try his hand at writing plays and musicals. Since then, his works have been produced in ten different states across the US, and in eight different countries. Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches will be J. Isaiah Smith’s third time composing music for OCP, having previously worked on The Drawer Boy (2021) and Pretty Fire (2023). His intent is that his music will touch your heart in a way that best services and supports the success of this production.

Jordan The Ninja
Composer, Dot

Jordan The Ninja seeks to bring joy to the world in many forms. A self-described ‘Poet of The Fine Arts’, Jordan is heavily saturated in several genres of the entertainment industry. Previous theatre credits include Booker T. Washington in Ragtime, Donkey in Shrek The Musical at OCP, Anthony in I and You at BLUEBARN, Alex the Lion in Madagascar and Jack The Narrator in Stinky Cheese Man, both at the Rose Theatre. He is not only an award-winning stage actor, filmmaker, writer, and swing dancer, but is also an experienced film director, screenwriter, and composer, having worked with several theatre, film, and entertainment companies, like the Omaha Jitterbugs, BLUEBARN, The Rose Theater, Anastasis Theatre Co., Radio Theatre Omaha, Omaha Summer Arts Festival, Benson Theatre, OCP, Omaha Performing Arts, Holland Performing Arts Center, Omaha Film Festival, and several others. Jordan has also appeared on TV and in the Omaha World Herald many times, he’s appeared at Carnegie Hall and is currently preparing to have his radio debut with KVNO. He recently started his own entertainment company and continues to learn and create fashion and comedy content on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, whilst helping others find their voice in the entertainment industry.

Addie Barnhart (she/her)
Intimacy Choreographer & Dialect Coach, Various Shows

Addie Barnhart (she/her) is a theatre artist originally from Wichita, Kansas and delighted to work in this upcoming season as intimacy choreographer and dialect coach. Addie is a multi-disciplinary generalist who shares her creative impulses as an actor, director, and educator. She’s worked across the United States with companies such as Virginia Repertory/Cadence Theatre, Richmond Shakes, Playmaker’s Theatre, TheatreLAB, Swine Palace, and many others along the way. Her passion for education and teaching life skills through theatre was the gateway to a master’s degree at Louisiana State University where she earned an M.F.A. in Acting. Addie is Assistant Professor of Theatre at Creighton University by way of Richmond, VA. She was last seen at OCP as Mark’s Mom in RENT.  www.addiebarnhart.com

Hugo Zamorano
Mural Artist, American Mariachi

Hugo Alberto Zamorano, is a dynamic multidisciplinary visual artist renowned for mentoring, murals, and theatre. Inspired by “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” in his kindergarten years, Hugo’s artistic journey began its ascent. At 13, he delved into graffiti, kindling his love for colors and forms. An advocate of art’s transformative power, Hugo evolved into an art and boxing mentor, later venturing into theatre as an actor and set designer. Rooted in South Omaha, Hugo’s aspirations continue to foster cross-cultural connections through creative collaboration, diverse influences, and stories on grand canvases.

Charles Wilke
Projections Designer, Jersey Boys

Charles Wilke is overjoyed to return to OCP for its centennial season. He previously served as the Assistant Director for Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Now, in Season 100, he’s stepped into the role of Projection Designer for Jersey Boys. Mr. Wilke’s experience covers an array of media – print journalism, feature film production, AAA console video game development, digital marketing, improv and theater. The unifying aspect of his career remains focused on telling meaningful stories. His work on projection design for this production is meant to supplement and enhance the immersion of experience within Omaha’s premier venue, the Hawks Mainstage.
