School and Community Partnerships

The objective of the education and outreach program at the Omaha Community Playhouse is to provide educational theatrical programming for children and adults through collaborations with arts professionals and other local arts organizations.

Educational programming in the arts can be tailored to any group or situation. OCP’s Shirlee & Henry Fonda Theatre Academy has specifically designed workshops for a variety of groups in the area. Teachers and performers are matched to the event, and programming can be designed to fit any space, time frame and budget.

Current community partnerships include collaborations with Collective for Youth, Completely Kids, Boys Town, 75 North, Intercultural Senior Center, Autism Action Partnership and Empowerment Network.
