About Campsite (our registration platform):
If you’ve taken classes or camps with us prior to Spring 2025, OCP is now using a registration portal called CampSite. This platform is simple to use and requires the creation of a CampSite account. Once you’ve created your account, use the “Parent Dashboard Login” link to go back to your account and register for any of our Season 101 offerings!
Join us for a special behind-the-scenes Costume Retrospective during the run of Hair. Led by Omaha Community Playhouse Head Costume Designer Lindsey Pape, this interactive class explores how the fashion of the late 1960s reflected cultural change, self-expression, and resistance, and how those ideas shape the costume designs for our production today. Participants will learn how clothing in the 1960s communicated identity, values, and protest; explore key silhouettes, materials, and styling choices of the era; and see how those historical influences were translated into costumes that support character, movement, and storytelling on stage. Guests will also gain insight into the costume design process and learn how design choices reinforce themes of community, individuality, and belonging. The experience includes a hands-on creative activity inspired by the era. Recommended for Teens and Adults!
