Three actors. One timeless role. Over the course of 50 years, Ebenezer Scrooge has been played by three gifted storytellers on the OCP Mainstage, and many more on tour. Here we honor our Three Scrooges of our Mainstage production.
Three Ebenezers. The original OCP Scrooge Dick Boyd (left) played the role for a remarkable 30 years before turning the iconic hat and scarf over to Jerry Longe (center) who previously toured with the Caravan and assumed the role in 2006. Equally beloved and who brought something new to the role each of his 17 years, he took his final bow as Scrooge in 2022. Another Caravan alum, Cork Ramer, made his Scrooge debut on the mainstage in 2023.
