We’re in our second century of theatre at the Omaha Community Playhouse. Founded with the mantra, theatre by the community, for the community, “community” remains at the heart of who we are, our Mission, and our Values. We’re nationally known – the largest community-based theatre in the country – and respected for the high caliber of work we bring to the stage. We’re Omaha – our artists are rooted in here, our productions are built here, and the best part of it all – we’re yours.
We believe in the power of connection, collaboration, and shared experience, and we actively seek partners who share these same Values. We simply could not make and sustain theatre without them.
One such long-time partner is Immanuel Communities. Since 2017, Immanuel Communities has proudly served as the Hawks Mainstage Series Sponsor, demonstrating a deep commitment to arts, culture, and community enrichment.

Production sponsorships at all levels are essential to the work of the Omaha Community Playhouse. Ticket sales alone are not enough to cover the expenses of producing first-rate theatre. From sets and costumes to lighting, artist stipends, and technical support, each production generates significant expenses. Production sponsorships help bridge the gap, ensuring we can continue to stage plays and musicals of exceptional quality that engage, inspire, provoke thought, and make us laugh.
